First U.S. House endorsement of 2010 goes to MO candidate
(ST. LOUIS, MO.) April 22, 2010 – Thursday morning Conservatives of America announced its very first endorsement in the 2010 U.S. House race. The national grassroots conservative organization awarded Missouri’s 3rd district congressional candidate Ed Martinwith the honor.
Bill Murphy, founder of Conservatives of America, says Ed Martin is the “real deal.” He went on to say, “…it has been a real privilege for me to personally get to know Ed and see him ‘in action’. I have been to a host of area gatherings and have witnessed firsthand how Ed interacts….and listens…to the people. He is bright, articulate, and knowledgeable on the key issues. At the same time though, he is humorous and humble. Ed has also proven to be extremely creative and zealous in his efforts to win this office. I am confident he would bring this same kind of work ethic and fight to Washington. I kindly ask that Conservatives across the country join with us on his behalf and support Ed Martin in any way they can. Ed Martin can win this race!”
Conservatives of America says it so far has endorsed three strong conservative candidatesfor Senate in 2010; Marco Rubio of Florida, JD Hayworth of Arizona, and Jim DeMint of South Carolina.
