An Army of Ed Martin supporters spread his message on the snowy sidewalks outside Chaifetz.
(ST. LOUIS, MO.) Feb. 6, 2010 – Volunteers seized the opportunity of meeting an arena full of fellow conservatives Friday night. Chaifetz arena was packed full of people eager to hear Fox News TV host and conservative political commentator, Glenn Beck. Patriots filing into the arena were met by supporters canvassing for 3rd District Congressional Candidate Ed Martin.
As they handed out Ed Martin bumper stickers and bios they were greeted by comments like, ”I want to volunteer for him too,” “I’m already a big supporter,” and “Anything to get rid of Russ Carnahan!”
One volunteer started a rally cry chanting, “Massachusetts we can do it too! Goodbye Carnahan, Hello Ed Martin.” It was a sentiment that echoed throughout the crowd as they gave thumbs up and reached for more Ed Martin bumper stickers.
Inside the arena the call for action continued as Glenn Beck rallied the packed house. He told the crowd that each of us has a role to play and warned liberals saying “We surround them” and “Here come the Americans.” The event was sponsored by the group Conservatives of America.
